BREAKING NEWS: Horror as TWINS are charged with child sexual abuse of two boys in police probe into cold case murders of THREE women

Twin brothers have been charged with the sexual abuse of two young boys as police probe into the cold case murders of three women in the same area.

One of the brothers was arrested at a home in Seven Hills last Wednesday while the other was arrested at a home in Greenacre in Sydney’s southwest on Thursday.

Police will allege the two young boys were sexually abused in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s by two men who were known to them.

The alleged abuse came to light following extensive investigations into activity in the east Lake Macquarie area in the NSW Hunter Region almost 40 years ago.

The brother arrested in Seven Hills was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with three counts of sexual assault, among other charges.

More to come.
