A prankster Woolworths employee has horrified customers by throwing around food and pretending to lower unwrapped items into her open mouth.
One video the young woman uploaded to TikTok shows her in what looks like a food storage room swinging around a chain of Frankfurt sausages.
She then holds the meat above her mouth before throwing a large wheel of cheese into the air and catching it.

The worker is wearing a Woolworths cap and pants with a casual jumper and only lightweight disposable plastic gloves to protect the food.
‘An important announcement from Woolworths. Your well-being is our highest priority,’ she captioned the video.
One viewer tagged the Woolworths’s TikTok account to notify it of the video.
Woolworth’s Covid handbook requires staff to always adhere to food safety standards.
‘Good hygiene is a condition of entry for all customers, team members, visitors, service providers, contractors, vendors and suppliers,’ it states.
Face masks are provided to all employees but they are not mandatory unless as required by government Covid rules.

‘Face masks can help stem the flow of droplets and airborne particulates,’ the handbook states.
It is not known in what state the supermarket worker in the clip is from.
Woolworths said it was aware of the video and was looking into it.
‘We take food safety very seriously and are disappointed by the behaviour in the video,’ it said.
‘We’re in the process of investigating the video and the circumstances surrounding it. We intend to take the appropriate action to address the matter in line with our code of conduct.’
