Gordon Ramsay’s Cornish mansion that he sold for a record £7.5million is set to be gutted by its new owner with plans submitted for a new pool complex, yoga studio and kitchen in the beach-side property.

Dominic Murphy, co-head of UK Investments at CVC Capital Partners, bought the 2.5-acre site in Trebetherick, Cornwall, from the multi-Michelin starred chef in March 2021.

The investment banker is on the board of the holding company that owns high street pharmaceutical chain Boots, Walgreens…
