Hit-and-run driver slams into man on Brooklyn sidewalk after hitting others

Police are searching for two suspects responsible for killing a grandmother and injuring her eight-year-old grandson during a hit and run rampage. 

The unidentified driver – in a Honda HRV with mismatched license plates – and a passenger were approached by police in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood around 7.10 p.m. on Saturday.

The two occupants were smoking marijuana when they ‘fled at an extremely high rate of speed,’ police said.
